The large room felt very comfortable. I enjoyed the variety at breakfast. it had oatmeal toppings, scrambled eggs, and different types of meat like turkey sausage and Canadian bacon. The pool was nice to swim in, though the temperature wasn't very warm. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, especially Brooke. She assisted with room issues promptly. On the downside, the air conditioning in my first room malfunctioned, which was frustrating. The hallway felt warm, and I noticed the elevator was hot and smelled like tar. I also found a used bar of soap in the shower, which was quite off-putting. Overall, it was a mixed bag, but the positives made it somewhat enjoyable.

We loved the spacious king room, perfect for our family with a small baby. Breakfast had great options, and the kids enjoyed it. Also, the cold AC was a relief during our stay, keeping us comfortable in the Texas heat.
My wife says that the pool being closed was a major bummer for the kids.
